John door was widely known to be the greatest of all time at this point in history. Amazon ends up choosing Kleiner to lead their series A $8 million at a $60 million post money valuation. Jeff wasn't too happy about this, so he goes to talk to Tom like, what should I do about this? And they brainstorm, they come up with an idea and Jeff calls John back and is like, I'm really sorry.
