Grubhub was profitable at the IPO and for eight quarters before and after the IPO. Ad Prof: Why isn't that happening now? One is there's pressure from public markets for companies to show growth as opposed to profitability. But maybe more importantly, as competition has entered the space, differentiation between the different entities has really decreased.
