The Importance of Turning Back to God
Jason Johnson: Dr. King's message was laced with something that we were not aware of at the time weren't focused on, but it turned the churches into political institutions and particularly the black church. He says if we don't turn back to God, it's the only thing that will bring us together across racial lines, economic lines or put all these other identities on the back burner. "We want men to live up to their responsibilities spelled out in the Bible," he says. 'I'm an imperfect person who has lived an imperfect life'
