In a start up there's multiple audiences, with each requiring their own message media and messengers. To figure out who the audience is, you need to go back all the way toe back, what's our strategy? The second part is, what's the message? You know, i tend to think that messages answer three questions: Why should the audience care? What are you offering? And more importantly,What's the call o action?
