How to Use Postgres to Alert Movement in and Out of Geofences
You can program geofences entirely inside the database, which is great every time. There's no third party software required to have a geolerting setup. You can do an awful lot of statistical analysis right inside of Postgres using PLR if you're like complete statistical super person. So it sounds really cool when I think about use cases, I think about alerting movement in and out of geofences as an example.
