Chat GPT Is Not Creating New Explanations

Chat GPT is given almost the entire corpus of human knowledge as it exists now. It can give you pre-existing expressions, but until it's able to give you a good new explanation we don't have any clue about AGI. There's no sense in which we're closer to AGI when we understand what it is that people do once we understand what human beings do then we'll be able to program that in Silicon or whatever.
