Introduction
Jo Robert Cole is an award-winning writer-director of both television and film. He co-wrote two Oscar nominated movies with Ryan Coogler, 2018's Black Panther, and last year's Black Panther Wakanda Forever,. On the TV side, Jo worked as a co-producer on Ryan Murphy's People vs OJ mini-series, earning an Emmy nomination for writing the episode The Race Card. Lorian McKenna was asked to help teenagers read a YA feature she wrote called How to Set a Fire and Y based on the book. She says it was "a really validating and humbling experience"
