Using Light Clients on a Macbook Air

The light client would basically allow like you said anyone to have because you only download the block headers which are very small. So doing simple things like sending a transfer you can use some of the more cool proofs to not have to do much interaction with the network. But once you get into heavier things like running a depth with a light client it actually kind of requires the depth author to know what they're doing a little bit to have this be efficient. Right now there's actually no incentivization for a full node to serve light clients and that's another research problem that's being worked on.
