I love that term, like evolution too. I think the charismatic world has been trying to force a move of God that looks exactly like them and what they think it should look like. You can pull things from church history, but you cannot force what the next move of God is. There's a tiny baby in that bathwater, but this is a tiny, tiny, tiny baby. If we remember everything, it's an embryo, basically the thing they all love and want to protect.
