The numbering of the APOLipar proteins or the APO-A lipoproteins is totally independent of the numbering of the HDL particles. There's been a cottage industry, as you know, Peter, of trying to relate these different fractions of HDL to cardiovascular risk. But I'm not very compelled that fractionating HDLs gives much clinically valuable information that allows us to predict risk. The smaller denser LDL particles do have a relationship to increase risk, as you've discussed in the past.
