The Importance of Collaboration in Sound Design
I don't remember anything that stumped me. I usually have a strong idea of what I'm going to do. Sometimes my first idea was not quite it. It's just sort of like this sourdough starter, where you've got the basic meat of it to start. But then you have someone else add seasoning and maybe pitch it a little bit or maybe add some reverb or mix in another sound with it. And if I can deliver everything in one package vocally, that's the most efficient. That's what everybody would want is to get what they need quickly.
