Do you think the Fed understood what they were doing when they kind of blew that duration bubble and what was the hope? Cameron: I fall in the camp that these this is actually a very intelligent group of people that has an enormous amount of information and control over markets. If you don't want to have a deep recession that's prolonged in the face of a massive shock to the economy i.e. covid um just give people money then all of a sudden consumption is okay but if you spur consumption but then supply chains are shut down then you probably are going to have inflation.
