A turtle named Don McPond was the best private detective in his town. Animals would come from all over with their mysteries and no matter how tricky the case, Don cracked it like a crab with a clam. One morning he had just settled into his seat to read when he heard a hooting, chattering, hollering. He looked left and saw nothing. He looked right and saw more nothing. Hello! said a fuzzy monkey, swinging into view from up above. She landed in front of his stump and did a few somersaults before popping back up to her feet. Her name was Zira, and she was a mother to a particularly messy monkey named Mojo.
