Monotheism Isn't an Equality of Wealth, It's an Equality of Dignity
Religion in the ancient world was essentially a defence of hierarchy. Monotheism removes this entire mythological basis of hierarchy. There is no order among the gods because there are no gods. Judaism isn't anarchy. It's fundamentally an equality of dignity. And that is the idea that's born in the bible, and most explicitly in to day's pre it this week's parasa. Holiness belongs to all of us when we turn our lie into the service of god... Sha but shalo.
