Puerto Ricans Need Relief From Hurricanes

The private sector needs to be completely in charge of power in Puerto Rico because the government has done such a horrible job. The price of diesel doubled and people were waiting on long lines to get diesel. In the meantime, there was a huge ship right off of Puerto Rico full of diesel that wanted to dock and bring badly needed diesel to the people of Puerto Rico. And the US government again did not grant that ship captain a waiver. So even though the Puerto Rican people desperately needed diesel, President Biden refused to waive the Jones Act. He cared more about the political contributions of the small group of people that benefit from ripping the American public off with the Jones Act than they actually cared about the people
