Grace and the Church in a Transcendental Way

The church can take ordinary natural human virtues by grace and lift them to a higher level without just being a part of polity. Leo XIII said that the church is to society as the soul to the body, this is 90% of the time misinterpreted. Just as the teachings of the church can move those who have ears to hear, they can even move them morally without the teaching of the church being part of the body politic. But obviously the church cannot be substantial in any way because it wouldn't want to be a form of polity or social order.
