The tora does not endorse slavery. It doesn't tell us there's no mia to buy or to own slaves. The tora only governs how we must treat them. Owner is not let to strike him. If the owner kills the slave, the owner is liable all these laws governing how he has to be treated and the rights afforded to the slave. But i also think that some people might say that, you know, wouldn't it be better if the togis outlaws slavery? Rly, wouldn't that be ideal? Some one a coind of played this out as somewhat of a mental exercise. Who benefits if the tora were to say that slavery is banned
