Podcast Interviews - What Do You Like About Contracts?

I like contracts that are easy to read, I feel like it should not be confusing legally. So what's the process look like when you're actually closing a deal? It's signing the contract and then giving me half upfront. Most podcasters don't even track their own hours. Track your project hours and see how long does it take for you to produce your own show? What's that process? If you had to write down the process of producing your own show, what it would look like. But I like the, just like the project is this flat rate. And then I always over deliver because that just makes me feel good.
