The value of forgetting is something that probably can be explored further there might be things in the neuroscience field that might bring ideas about what kind of questions to explore. In some ways you could think of forgetting as being the reason why we have to generalize because if we never forgot anything then maybe we could just memorize everything. That's a really valuable I mean that's another way of advocating for the value of forgetting which is it essentially forces a model or us to Generalize.
