Building Habits

If we think of developing habits as learning behavior, then we start to understand why things like a habit tracker don't typically work in the long term. You would never learn french by just checking off an item in a list. You learn french by discovering the information, practising it and then reflecting on it. Why wouldn't you want to learn meditation by teaching somebody who's just slightly behind you? And if we can approach that learning with the same skill set as learning anything else in our lives up to this point, i think we'll all be far more successful in building habits. So i hope this was helpful. I want to hear your thoughts though. Let me know what you think.
