Everything in the traditional mass ithers like a forest of symbols that it ust thick with symbolism. There's a density of meaning, layer uon layer of meaning in the tuical mass. You walk in and you just feel thi sense of like time stops. The holy is something that draws us up and out of ourselves,. No one goes to the grand canyon does it to contemplate the self. They go there to be in awe of a reality that is greater than themselves.
