The Importance of Flexibility in Cybersecurity

The first move you make out of the military is probably not going to be the last right. So I think it's really important that service leave is take away that leaving the service, coming into a civvy job doesn't mean that's you tied to that desk for the rest of your career. For me, there is a real difference between working in a BAU security team and sort of consultancy. And I think personally for me, for that three years in consultancy really, really has paid dividends for me personally. There are obviously different career paths now within cyber much more than there was, say, 10, 15 years ago.
