There's an argument that elan's management style works for spacex and tesla because people are true believers you can sell them on the mission they know what it's for. It becomes sort of a cult whereas twitter twitter exists so you need to really give people a vision of what what they're building for. There's something abusive about employees who are on visas being trapped at a particular company which goes against right sort of the freedom that's part of capitalism right?
