The Serp Religion Is Not the Original Religion

The serpent is so foundational and intrinsic as a symbol to us, right? And yet, like you said, it still bleeds into the jesus worship. It's almost like the authors themselves couldn't let go of the power of that serpent imaagery. The fat was actually a serpent that god made for moses to protect the hebrews. So in a way, jesus inherits serpent powers.
