Joe: I loved the idea of Ellie just constantly disappearing around the corner before Joel can glimpse her. The score that kicks in here is like ethereal, right? It heightens the sense that you are looking through a portal into a different universe. This is one of those rare moments where we have this incursion of the rot of the present and this thing from a different time. But here it's an injection of life and even though the two elements are ultimately the same, they don't work together.
