The Power of Competence in Film

Having an every man character like that is someone that is easier for the audience to relate to. And another place where you can see people playing with different levels of competency is in the heist formula. This is why I love the movie Sneakers, which I often bring out as my favorite heist story because they are all hyper competent in one area and then buffoons in a lot of areas.
