The Importance of Ventilation in Boats
Even the best boats designed by Mara Shatz fall flat on their ass, he says. He points out that hatches are ridiculous and ventilation is so bad they have to put dehumidifiers in them whenever they come in. The only way you could cook on starboard tack was to strap yourself into a position where you couldn't even reach the sink. Most essential piece of equipment is one of little diving sets that has small bottles so you can go over side and clear it.
