The Battle for Power in Sudan
CNN's Sam Collie is on the ground in Djibouti, helping to evacuate people from Sudan. He says life has become impossible because of fighting between two factions that are trying to oust each other. The U.S. was able to get diplomats out calling it fast and clean; why not do the same with citizens? he asks. John Kirby: This is really the beginning of an evacuation process in the middle of a civil war. And clearly, no end in sight, according to what officials here in the US are seeing.
