Hosea's Prophecy of the Kingdom of Israel
Hosea is prophesying during the reigns of probably more kings than any other Old Testament prophet. His message has a lot to do with Israel prostituting herself, he says. Scholars speculate that this book was taken from the North and then given into the hands of scribes in the South. The Jews are the ones who are maintaining the integrity of these texts.
