Are We Going Home Now?

China's foreign ministry said that Xi Jinping reiterated China's position on Taiwan's importance to Beijing. He also said that Washington does not sense that Beijing intends to attack Taiwan in the near future. Some commentators here in Taiwan did note the emphasis, maybe for lack of a better word in what President Biden said either side.
