In 1774, a new king came to the throne of France, Louis the 16th. He was 19 years old. Something had to be done. The French revolution went awry. This is an international movement because what we're talking about are universal values. But now, at the end of the 18th century, many of these ideas are beginning to be translated into practical reality.
