Kyrie Irving and the NBA's Leverage Crisis

Kyrie Irving and his side is trying to push any leverage that it can out of a situation where it just doesn't feel like they have much leverage at all. They already have Bradley Beale Devin Booker and Kevin Durant. Why not turn a 32 to 32 million dollar salary slot on a center that doesn't do all this stuff we need or doesn't do it well enough to merit a 32 million dollar max contract? I'm going to assume this is just a leverage play and move on. There isn't a single human being that you could have on this pot anymore who would understand who would understand. All of this level other than make it stop.
