There are not many powerful, shrewd people who respond to the word of the cross. God frustrate people in their quest for satisfaction by means of pride because he hates them. He first blockaded the road to glory that we have built by our own strength and wisdom. Secondly, he directed us toward a new road called the Calvary Road - where we must die with Christ.
