The New Testament Is Full of Indicatives and Imperatives

The New Testament is filled with wonderful indicatives to lay your head down on, but it also has imperatives. For instance, the first Christian sermon ever preached by the Apostle Peter said Repent therefore or turn. The Bible is always doing these two things: Telling us what God has done in dictatives and making a claim on us to respond.
