When I first left Westboro, my mom would quote this passage about how can two walk together, except they be agreed. And that was always used as a way of saying we can't maintain friendships or close relationships with people outside of the church because we fundamentally disagree on these really important issues. When I left and, you know, started meeting people, it was such an amazing thing, a really liberating thing. JK Rowling said in one of our conversations, she talked about having a friend of hers who is a practicing Catholic who doesn't believe in abortion. So I think she, I mean, just based on that, I would guess that she sees that she can have friendships and relationships
