The Disappointment of a Women's Ministry Director

I was actually resistant to taking that position because I've been around the church. I've seen directors of women ministries come and go and it was not pretty. One of the things I asked Dwayne Miller for was their unwavering support. So there was an incident that did happen and I did not get their support. It created a lot of tension, awkward conversations, a lot of just self isolating. And so anyway, I had shared very vulnerably with them in an email and they were going to meet several times throughout liberate to talk about the ministry.
