Do We Have Personal Responsibility for Our Actions?

Our brains are complicated and wonderful, and we do have control over them. Thus, we must have personal responsibility for our actions. But I worry a little bit when we talk about responsibility as opposed to, let's say, ownership. What we should be doing when people make mistakes is to try to fix what was wrong with that decision. If you have a complex machine that makes decisions for a certain kind,let's say, a computer, you don't really blame the computer morally when it makes a mistake. You try to fix it.
