The Wilderwood Book Two, Part Two

Nezzie was floating in a cold darkness. She couldn't move or talk, but she could hear the sobbin sorbis trees crying. When she closed her hand around those voices, she felt their heat like a sun warmed stone. Her hand glowed orange, and beams of white light escaped between her fingers. I'm here. Suddenly, her dream ended, and nezzie sat up like a bolt. She was on a stone floor in a dark room with Harks. The floor and walls of the cell they were in had been dug out of natural stone. A flicker of firelight could be seen in the gloomy distance down a big hallway. They were prisoners.
