Lenin's Lesson From the 1905 Russian Revolution
Luxembourg and Lenin had a big disagreement about the lesson of the 1905 Russian Revolution. Luxembourg thought that to make the revolution a genuine revolution, it needed centralized leadership from the party.Lenin was a centralizer. He believed that if this revolution looked wrong, it was the job of Marxist intellectuals at the head of a tight-knit organization to steer it in the right direction.
