Federated Learning and Neural Networks

In general, federated learning is a hassle. You would just put all the data on one computer and train it there. And of course, you don't do that with federated learning because you can't. So we cloud-are built a simulator essentially to simulate federated learning training with industrial predictive maintenance data. And we were able to show that it does indeed result in improved performance. The intuition is clear. In some cases, it won't reach that limit that it can't do any better than putting all the data in one place.
