People come along to learn needling and uh look I could teach anybody the basic techniques in a couple of hours but there's no model to use the needling in. So for some people um that's they have to learn a new way of assessing which is very hard on their thumbs. It appeals to people with manual therapy experience who like to poke and feel tissue it appeals to people that are used to watching movement, he says.
