The Difference in Return Over Time Between the Top and the Bottom, Small Cap Value Index
The difference in return over time between the top and the bottom, small cap value index is an average of 2.5% a year. Well, that's huge within the same index. Last year, there was over a 1% difference between the S&P 500 and the total market index. So all of the point I'm trying to make is that we put together a portfolio of 500 companies in the S-P 500 and we buy it because we like the idea that some of these companies are going to go up and some are going down.
