The Paradox of Socrates
Socrates says he never thought anyone anything except for this one time, but that was about love. I found that quote to be very paradoxical because his students are the most successful lot of writers you can imagine. He's not asking questions and random; yes, it's true that he teaches indirectly. But that questioning is clearly aimed at certain directions. It's very clear to me that Socrates knows exactly where he's going when he's questioning utifro.
