The more people you have in the system, and the more data per person they yare able to harvest, the more stuff you have for the machine learning to figure out patterns on. And so now you get a new person coming in from ome developing country who's never used tick talk before, and they're just like, barely walking in for the front door the very first time. You know, it sort of like when cocacola goes to a southeast asia for the first time and you get die bedis ten years later, could refind all the techniques of marketing so effectively. But now happening at scales that are automated with computation.

We’ve explored many different problems on Your Undivided Attention — addiction, disinformation, polarization, climate change, and more. But what if many of these problems are actually symptoms of the same meta-problem, or meta-crisis? And what if a key leverage point for intervening in this meta-crisis is improving our collective capacity to problem-solve?
