Nuclear Waste: The Challenges of Planning for the Future
Fukushima is an example of how we can overreact to events that happen in recent historical memory. Nuclear Waste is one of those challenges that is similar to the climate crisis and that the time horizon in which people today are implicated is far longer than we're used to contemplating or imagining. So we're actually obligated to those future generations that are going to live in a world that we have warmed with our decisions about how we use energy.
