The women's cricket team were based in matunga, a railway quarter next to mahim station. They would train twice a day and then go to the office for three hours each day. The players had no week ends off because of their high work lothes. Took us about half an hour to travel from matunga to malokme on martyred Saturday morning. And if you have any energy left for recreation, that time is taken up by training. You can't really do anything else with your life when you're playing sports.
