COVID-19: A Chinese Virus

The disease was designated by the WHO as coronavirus disease 2019, abbreviated COVID-19. From 2019 NCOLV, the virus got the name SARS-CoV-2 for SARS-coronavirus-2. And then in a string of very modern sounding names. So to now, most press sources in the United States call it CO VID-19 or sometimes just Crown Virus.
