Mordecai and the King of Kings

Mordecai is either a hero or descended from someone who decided not to go back. The Ezra, Nehemiah stuff is still yet to come and we don't see any indication that Mordecai wants to be a part of that. Sousa really was the center of planet earth during the reigns of Darius Xerxes and Artaxerxes. If you wanted to have any shot at getting your hands on that most valuable commodity in 480 BC, you had to be in Sousa.
