"Do we have to ask consumers to be the ones that determine, I'm going to pay a premium for X, Y, or Z? That seems like a very large ask." He then goes on to say brands need to find their own moral compass and decide if they want to operate consistent with their values. The conversation creates strange bedfellas: You might think on the face of it that I would be an anti-Walmart person, but boy do I value a company like that that is taking a stand.
