The Importance of Apple's Globalization

If we use Apple say as a case study for the process of globalization I mean what exactly would it have to teach us about this era of global economics. On one hand Apple's globalization seems to be about the rising fortunes of the rest of the world. But on another level though Apple is a company that has exploited globalization to evade responsibility. Are these aspects of globalization inseparable in some way or is one a truer depiction of what globalization has really been about?
